Interesting article, the comment by the pastor in reference to having a youth pastor who was secretly teaching the youth calvinism brought back a lot of memories.
Perhaps we should endeavor to water this flower with a little historic covenant theology?

Perhaps we should endeavor to water this flower with a little historic covenant theology?

Indeed.

With regard to covert Calvinistic operations, I realize that these things happen to one degree or another, and I probably participated in them to a certain extent for a period of time, but I am not in favor of it. The gardener should move to another garden where tulips and other wonderful plants grow freely.

The problem is that, for most evangelical gardeners, when the tulip starts to blossom, he scarcely realizes that this little flower is only one part of something much larger.

I certainly agree that covert actions are not advisable and in my opinion are reprehensible, Personally, when I realized this I removed myself. My memories were more related to the pastors attitude.
