The best thing I have ever read on suffering! This is Horton at his best; it is something like Covenant & Eschatology scaled down to a popular level and applied with the utmost pastoral care. A must-read for anyone not yet in glory.

A great read on the doctrine of providence, including some helpful discussion of concurrence. I do not rate this book as highly as Horton's Too Good to Be True, (as Sproul does not deal with many theological areas that Mike does), but it is a very well written book nonetheless and worth the read.

I love this book! If you are looking for a clear, succint, biblical argument for natural law, this is it! Dave VanDrunen masterfully treats this subject in under 100 pages. Highly, highly recommended for anyone who wants to understand better his or her role as a Christian in the world, and why non-believers have some measure of natural knowledge of God's law. -
Owen's Mortification of Sin was originally given to university students at Oxford in the 1600s. As Carl Trueman has said, the problems associated with money, drink, and sex haven't changed much since then. Countless people have benefited from Owen's vivid description of indwelling sin and how the new covenant believer can and must combat it.

A modernized version of the work in Owen's volume 6, made easier to read for the twentyfirst-century reader.

An excellent book on how to understand our role in the culture. Mike taught a class on this same subject in our adult Sunday school. This book will make an excellent companion to those lectures, expanding on several different topics. Highly recommended.

Every American Christian should be required to read this book!!!
